Parent:Wise Austin: My Horse and Me Forever Be

My Horse and Me Forever Be

By Shelby Brooks
My horse, my horse, I love it so much.

When I come home, she will not ignore but strut.

When it comes to the Dandy Brush and the

Curry Comb,

I am the only one to do it.

When it comes to riding,

She can compare lots of things to me.

She will not bite,

But nip playfully.

I have tried to let her go,

But she will want to stay right by my side.

My Mimi once had a horse named

Old Bess,

And she rode it all the time.

I want to do the same.

That horse was very special to my Mimi,

So is my horse to me.

My little sister Avery likes unicorns.

I like them too,

But I like my horse best.

And my horse likes me,

And together we will forever be!
